Your books and chapters live in one place and save as you type. Paste from Word or Google Docs, and the smart quotes, invisible characters and lookalike letters that break a publisher’s file get cleaned on the way in.
Checks that read like an editor
riter marks the phrases that read as machine-written, right on the spot in your text, with the reason and a truer way to say it. You answer back (keep it, change it, or rule it out), and your answers stick.

Export a chapter or the whole book to Markdown, proven identical when you read it back. Your manuscript is never trapped in one place.

Voice needs a body of your writing to compare against, accuracy needs claims to check, and continuity needs more than one section; until they do, each reads insufficient rather than guessing. What it will never do
Write the book for you. riter works only on words you wrote — it checks them, and shows you where they stop sounding like you. Plenty of tools will write the prose; that was never the hard part, and it is not what riter is for.
