Your work is yours

You own everything you write here. We claim no licence over your manuscript, no right to publish it, and no share of anything it earns. The writing checks do not give us rights over your work.

This is early software

It is provided as it is, without warranty. Your work is currently stored only in your browser — see privacy — and clearing your browser data will delete it with no way for us to recover it. Keep a Markdown copy outside this browser.

Anything we describe as an intention is not a promise with a date attached. Judge the product by what it does for you now, not by what it might become.

What writing checks mean

The findings are rule-based suggestions, not a verdict from a publisher. A passing result is not a guarantee of publication, and a failing one is not proof your writing is bad. You decide whether a finding is useful and what to revise.

Fair use of the service

Do not use it to break the law, to process material you have no right to, or in a way that degrades it for others. We may withdraw access where that happens.

Payment

Nothing is charged today. The price on the pricing page is what it will cost when billing exists. Terms covering renewals, refunds and cancellation will be published here before any payment is taken — never afterwards.
